It is our hope your child will become more comfortable with the prayers and blessings of the Saturday morning service.   With our teachers using a

GRADED MUSIC AND PRAYER CURRRICUM win our Religious School, we've ensured that your child will lead the worship service with added confidence on the day of their Bar/Bat mitzvah. 

At the beginning of the school year, each student will receive a prayer CD and packet so they can become familiar with the liturgy.   (All prayers can also be downloaded directly from this website).

Every class in the Religious School has their own set of expectations and goals outlined below.  It's our hope that your child will have mastered these expectations by year's end.  If they haven't, we'll make sure they reach their goals by recommending summer tutoring to get them caught up. 

We strongly encourage parents to work closely with their child.  Even if you don't read Hebrew,  simply by listening to your child by chant the prayers your presence will demonstrate the importance and value of this work.     If you'd like to join your child in learning these prayers, we've included English transliterations of the prayers and age appropriate translations in the packet to assist you.
