CHAVURAHS

There are a variety of Chavarah groups that meet on a periodic basis. Generally, they are formed based on particular interests. This is a current list of Chavurahs but you can always be creative and start one of your own.

Pre-School aged families
Sunday School aged families (Kindergarten through 3rd grade)
Religious School aged families
Empty nesters
Newlyweds
Seniors
Mature Singles
Young Singles
Divorced/Widowed Singles
Cultural Chavurah (plays, museums, moves, etc.)
Religious Practices (to share in holiday and life cycle events)
Social Chavurah (no children)

Do-it-Ourselves Book Club Chavurah is entering its second year. This is a chance to read members' choices of books, and commenting from the viewpoint of our Jewish Heritage.  The choice of books is eclectic and is arrived at democratically.  The group usually meets on the third Thursday of the month and is open to all.
