High Holy Day Youth Services This year, we will offer a wonderful youth program for, 1st – 6th graders who would like to participate in an alternative program concurrent with the adult morning services on Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. This program will be a combination of activity workshops and services, including holiday crafts, stories, and music. The children themselves will help to create and conduct the service that they will participate in, and will also have the opportunity to join the adult service, with their teachers, for the blowing of the Shofar. This youth service is designed for children who are at least beginning readers, and are ready to participate in an “age appropriate service and program”. The activities and service, led by experienced Jewish educators, are designed to create a meaningful experience for the children as we bring in the new year. |
